| Contacting Lici Colorstar? | 06 Apr 2005 17:24 GMT | 4 |
I'm wondering if anybody has ever gotten a reply from Lici? I've emailed them twice and not a thing. I'm looking to get a probe repaired. Omega is willing to forward it for me but can't give me an idea how much the repair might cost. Obviously if the repair is more then a new ...

Can someone publish or point me in a direction to find divided developers for B&W and C-41 films (and sure why not E-6 while we're on the subject). Thx.

| Push processing Classic Pan 200 | 06 Apr 2005 02:55 GMT | 16 |
Has anyone any experience of push processing Classic Pan 200? I took some shots today that I'm pretty sure will be a stop underexposed but which I really want to print ... the lens was wide open so I couldn't expose any more.

I just opened a bottle of Ilford Ilfosol developer (sealed, but of uncertain age). It is the color of rose wine. Is this normal, or has it oxidized?

Having done 35mm BW developing before, altho some years ago, I'm about to try my hand at doing Super 8 movie processing at home, using the Kodak T-Max Reversal kit and an old Russian developing tank built especially for Super 8 (these are OOP now but were quite common in the

| Have a question? Foolish? Dumb? | 05 Apr 2005 02:03 GMT | 1 |
It's always bugged me when people put "foolish question" or, "dumb question" in the header. If that's what you really think of your question, don't ask it. Otherwise ask it without labeling it. You'll feel better for it.

| My first B&W film processing since 1978! | 05 Apr 2005 00:33 GMT | 21 |
I just recently got back into film photography on an other than casual happy-snap basis, and as I've relearned what I *used* to know in high school, I have determined to try my hand at processing B&W film processing once again.

| Does Boric Acid equals Boric Acid, Crystal | 03 Apr 2005 05:48 GMT | 16 |
In the formula of F-5 fixer, there is a Boric Acid, Crystal. But I only got Boric Acid (without the 'crystal' on the label). My question is, is the Boric Acid(H3BO3) actually Boric Acid, Crystal? If not, how do I convert the molecular weight between them? For example, the F-5

| b/w negative curl | 01 Apr 2005 16:59 GMT | 8 |
Wanting to scan old 35mm b/w negs of Kodak's Plus X and Super XX taken in the early 1950s I removed the rolls from the metal film cans or the cardboad forms they were wound on and cut them into 5 or 6 frame lengths so they would fit into my scanner's (Minolta Scan Dual II) neg tray.

Recently (This morning) I got a mouth full of RA Developer. My Fujimoto processor had an issue and it was recommended I use a Turkey baster to correct it, lacking the necessary implement I substituted the hose from My Jobo foot pump.

It is an important question because today, developing my usual film with my usual times and the usual home made developer I have the negatives quite undedeveloped: The film is ok but the images are thin and lacks of contrasts and depth.

| A forgotten formula | 01 Apr 2005 05:12 GMT | 13 |
I once read about a technique where you could draw on a b/w print with india ink and then immerse the paper in a solution of iodine and water. The iodine will cause the photographic image to disappear leaving only the lines drawn with the india ink. The result is a sort of pen ...
