I've had great success making B&W slides using panF. I have also a
small supply of frozen Agfapan 25 120 film that I would also like to
reverse, however I lost the original recipe for its reversal. Does
anyone recall how the disconinued agfa film compared to panF as far as

b/w rotary processing - what works for you?08 Mar 2005 01:20 GMT8
just processed some APX-100 in Xtol using my Jobo processor and I should
have become suspicious that the Xtol docs state 6.5 minutes as oppposed
to 9.75 for small-tank processing.
The negs are _very_ light.

DIY Diafine low contrast07 Mar 2005 01:39 GMT7
I mixed up a batch of Diafine #36 from Darkroom Cookbook and I'm getting OK
density but low contrast. I figure either one of the chemicals has gone bad
from sitting on the shelf for several years (they all looked OK; no brown
color) or I made a mistake in measuring. Using a ...
Chemical shelf life06 Mar 2005 20:10 GMT5
I have some bottles of concentrate. Some open, some not. I'm assuming that
the unopened Ilford developer and fixer will store for years.
What about opened containers? They've been sitting for around 5 years. Also
a bottle of HC-110 that's probably 1/3 used? I have a bottle of ...
Pull processing HP506 Mar 2005 12:17 GMT6
My N80 recently went on the blink, and so I borrowed an N65 to shoot a
lesson for a class I am taking.  I am using bulk loaded HP5 (asa400).
In my haste, I didn't realize that you could not manually set the iso
on the N65, and on nonDX coded films, the iso is defaulted to 100.

Problems with my Combi-Plan tank03 Mar 2005 23:37 GMT14
Over a period of time I have on more then one occasion had very negative
things to say about the Combi-Plan tank. The source of my problem turned out
to be that one of my cats found that the funnel to fill the tank made a good
chew toy and put holes in it. Despite my best attempts ...
Help processing Kodak E100GX03 Mar 2005 23:01 GMT1
Anybody having a problem clearing Kodak E100GX when using small tanks.
I love this film but, if I can't get rid of the brown overcast, I a
going to have to give up.
I think it's the antihalation layer but I'm not sure
