| HP cosidering buying Kodak | 16 Mar 2005 19:39 GMT | 26 |
This morning's NY Times has an article about HP's future with a new CEO. One of their considered strategies to maximize their strength in printers would be to purchase Kodak. If they do I wonder what that will mean for their film business?

| E-6 Processing: Best or Most Cost Efficient? | 14 Mar 2005 22:28 GMT | 4 |
I've wondered for some time if E-6 labs (or C41 for that matter) are set up to get your film through the process in the shortest amount of time versus what would be required for the best quality. These are all silver-based processes, and anyone who has developed their own B&W film

| Kodalith Fine Line Developer | 14 Mar 2005 19:55 GMT | 5 |
A friend uses this developer to make some beautiful prints, but has run out of her supply. I searched in Google for a source and found none. Does anyone know if this is still available? Alternatively, does anyone have a formula for mixing it yourself? Thanks in advance.

Alrighty I'm sure this is redundant but here goes and please advise!! I'm having a terrible time clearing that pinkish halide or ? coating from my Kodak films from 120 Roll (Tmax and Tri-X) as well as my sheet film of the same. I'm processing in a Jobo and am using both a 5 minute ...

| Agfa Pan-X 400 / D76 times | 11 Mar 2005 11:47 GMT | 6 |
Alright. I think Agfa Pan-X is a new film, according to its white papers. The 400 film seems to shoot like 200 and this is troubling to me. I'm developing it in D76 at roughly 1:1 and 12 minutes isn't cutting it. I'm just about to shoot a concert with it and I'd like to know if

| Musings on washing fiber-based prints | 11 Mar 2005 11:33 GMT | 96 |
Just wondering, dreaming of the day I might actually try to make prints on "real" (i.e., fiber-based as opposed to RC) paper ... So, as most of us know, one of the big problems with FB is washing. And one of the things that turns me off of using it is the enormous quantity of water
