I have been using Fujinon EP 50mm/3.5 for printing, and the lens is
really very good. But one problem is it does not have click stops.
I have on several occassions switched on the enlarger before stopping
the lens down to working aperture. And I am never sure if I have set

I have a batch of Kodak Rapid Selenium Toner 1:9 mixed several years
ago.  I last used it maybe 18 months ago and it has been stored at
room temperature in an amber glass bottle since then.  The other
day I pulled it out to tone some prints and noticed a black residue

I was recently given a package of Neofin Blu developer.
The liquid is dark brown.
Before wasting time & film on it, is it normal or o.k. for it to be
brown or is that a sure sign of oxidation?

I'd sort of like to set up my own darkroom to develop my negatives and
then print them. My two main questions are:
1. Is there any way to darken an extra bedroom enough to use it as a
darkroom?

I've been going to my normal haunts looking for Oriental Seagull
11x14 Fiber paper. They are all out of the stuff. Does anyone know if
Oriental is having problems meeting demand?

I'm pretty new to darkroom work, and I'm getting back into processing
prints in the darkroom after a long time (I havent done it since high
school about 14 years ago)... Does anyone have any comments or opinions
about these (resin coated) papers? They're the ones available to me ...

I am pretty handy in the darkroom in terms of getting the image I want
onto my nice easy RC paper, but I've agreed to sell someone one of my
prints for a pretty good chunk, and I'll be shipping him the print on
11x14 fibre paper, which I have never used.

I was just wondering if it is possible to get emulsion off film and use it
to make transfers of any sort. I've got access to some very cheap ortho film
in huge sheets, so it would work out far cheaper than using polaroid.

Does anyone in this group have experience in selling photographs at art
festivals? I have a b/w darkroom and hope to print several images to
display and hopefully sell at upcoming outdoor art festivals.

I developed 3 rolls of film at Kodak's recommended times in Xtol 1:1.  The
fresh TMax 400 came out fine.  My two rolls of expired TMax 100 (the
original stuff) can out very thin...they expired a year ago.  I had to
print at grade 5 to get something marginally usable.  There was ...
