| just in case... Iford... | 09 Dec 2004 03:58 GMT | 27 |
for some stage shots during jazz & blues concerts I use Fuji Neopan 1600 (35mm) developped in Ilford DD-X, with results that please me. Although with some loss of shadow detail (shooting @ IE1600), but with nice contrasts (slightly extended dev.times) and grain to my taste.

I've been developing Konica 750 for a few years now and have been rating it whatever I want and I remember reading somewhere thats its a very slow film; I believe an EI of 32. So I'm wondering if anyone has shot this at 32 and if so what sort of times and developers

| What happened to the price of 35mm bulk TMAX? | 08 Dec 2004 16:43 GMT | 8 |
Back in August I bought a 100' bulk roll of TMY 35mm for $22.50 from Adorama. Today I find that the price on both Adorama and B&H is $39.95. While this still represents a substantial savings over buying rolls (I figure about 18 rolls of 36 exp. from 100', which would cost

| Ilford Universal vs Multigrade | 08 Dec 2004 02:00 GMT | 1 |
I've been using Ilford Multigrade paper developer for quite a while. Given the apparent scarcity of Ilford products, our local store still has Universal developer in stock but not Multi. Can anyone help me with the true difference between these products? As far as I can see, ...

| Zonal Pro HQ Warmtone with Agfa Classic | 07 Dec 2004 03:23 GMT | 1 |
By adding Zonal Pro HQ Warmtone to my Bromophen/glycin I can get the green out of Agfa Multicontrast Classic. Without it, no amount of selenium tone will rid me of this green cast. It will split-tone weirdly, before a good color results. For some reason, the Zonal-Pro,

I stopped by one of the local camera places and bought their last two rolls of 120 Technical Pan yesterday. They won't be getting any more. Nobody will. It really is the end of an era; Technical Pan was unique.

| Negative curl... widthwise not lengthwise... | 06 Dec 2004 05:00 GMT | 8 |
My negatives seem to have quite a curl to them after drying. I'm wondering if this is normal? or if there is something I'm doing wrong. The curl is not lengthwise like I would have somewhat expected because the films has spent so long rolled up. It is curled widthwise. ??

| Mounting Enlarger Lens - Omega D2 | 06 Dec 2004 03:15 GMT | 7 |
I just purchased a used Omega D2 enlarger and separately a Vivitar VHE 135 mm lens. The spare lens disc that came with the enlarger appears to have a mounting hole that is about 1-2 mm too small for the lens. I've called a few machine shops without success.
