Any idea what this stuff is?14 Nov 2004 06:40 GMT2
I picked up a bunch of enlarger goodies on eB*y recently,
including some UDOs (Unidentified Darkroom Objects).
Can anyone tell me what they are, and for what enlarger?
They don't fit my Beseler 45, I think they might be for an
Developer to give low FB + F14 Nov 2004 01:36 GMT9
I have been testing HP5+ in Rodinal and am getting a Film Base + Fog of .16.
This is quite a bit above the recommended .10 above FB+F.  Does anyone use this
film with a different developer and get a lower density??  If you do, please
let me know which developer and the density you ...
Developing Neopan; Pushed HP5 in DDX?13 Nov 2004 19:15 GMT3
Before I commit to pouring chemicals into the tank, I was wondering
peoples experience in running HP5 EI 800 in DDX? Using listed times at
20?C? Anything I should know?
Same thing for running Neopan 1600, no push, in DDX at rated/listed
What causes this? - "run" on a negative.13 Nov 2004 19:10 GMT3
Processed a roll of film tonight - Fuji Neopan SS, in Ilford LC29. Did
everything the same as I normally do - developer at 1+19, 20deg C, 5 min,
single shot, 10sec of agitation every minute - just per the instructions,
and exactly how I do every other roll that I have developed.
2nd hand Pentax 64513 Nov 2004 17:24 GMT2
I'm about to go mid format. Fell on a nice deal of a Pentax 645 (model
released in 1998 I think, not the AF model).
There are 2 Pentax SMC-A 645 lenses that come with it :
- 55/2,8 (brand new)
Omega D212 Nov 2004 15:45 GMT2
I'm setting up an Omega D2V for the first time and a few things aren't
self-evident or explained well in the manual.  The one that
immediately comes to mind is how do the lenses mount.  Do I completely
unscrew the two knurled screws, place the flat lens boards there, and
For Sandra Smith about InfoRelation.com12 Nov 2004 14:35 GMT1
I have visited InfoRelation.com and I would like to thank you for drawing
my attention to this service ;-). The idea of connecting demand
and supply for info, knowledge etc is great! Thanks to this I was able
to find an expert in the field of my interest and hobby.

Dear Photo Friends,
I would like to tell you about new possibilities

just do it as an extremely interesting hobby.
Digital preservation article11 Nov 2004 16:22 GMT2
In today's (November 10) NYTimes on the web, on the front page, there is
an article about the problems of digital preservation and retrieval.
Nothing new for those of us who have been worried about this all along,
but for those who are really into digital photography and haven't ...
From digital to traditional?11 Nov 2004 14:33 GMT35
Well, I'm standing on the brink of setting up a traditional darkroom
and need a little gentle persuasion. My days of working in the digital
darkroom may soon be at an end.
For a little background, I shoot 35mm E6 and 4x5 in E6 and B&W. I do

It has two sachets in the there. Part A & Part B. Does anyone have any

Agfapan 2510 Nov 2004 23:26 GMT25
I'm still reeling from the Kodak Tech Pan decision as I'm sure many of
you are.  I've been doing a small stocking up but of course an
alternative would be better than stuffing my freezer with film.  I've
seen that Agfa makes a 25 speed B&W film for the Minox format.  If this
EOS300D -Images disappear...10 Nov 2004 21:56 GMT13
Any ideas why one just one occasion (out of hundreds use) some images
'dissappear' from the memory card. I make a point of never deleting images
using the camera delete option (its only a extra keypress on a small screen
to delete ALL) , but some important images dissapeared ...
