Hello Folks, a friend gave me a 4x5 Dual Dichro head, and I want to sell it on e-bay, as I don't do any color work. I thought I should check it before I sold it, so I plugged it in and started fooling around with it. I think I found a problem, but I'm not sure what to make of it, ...

| Life of chems in solution - EDTA and others | 31 Oct 2004 14:58 GMT | 4 |
Since my darkroom use is infrequent, I don't want to mix up a giant batch of wash aid stock, only to have it oxidize before I can use it all. So I was thinking of making it up from powder for one-shot use as needed.

I picked up a gallon concentrate of Naaco Zip Fix the other day in my local camera store. Anyone heard of this? The concentrate was considerably cheaper than Ilford Rapid Fix. It lists only Ammonium Chloride and Metabisulfite as the ingredients. I'm guessing that I
