Does anyone know if you can push process kodak TX400 with Jessops Econodev
Universal? Probaby not! If so how much do I need to increase development

If this developer not suitable, could one be recommended for this process?
Beseler Dual Dichro 4500 question31 Oct 2004 14:59 GMT2
Hello Folks, a friend gave me a 4x5 Dual Dichro head, and I want to sell it
on e-bay, as I don't do any color work.  I thought I should check it before
I sold it, so I plugged it in and started fooling around with it.  I think I
found a problem, but I'm not sure what to make of it, ...
Life of chems in solution - EDTA and others31 Oct 2004 14:58 GMT4
Since my darkroom use is infrequent, I don't want to mix up
a giant batch of wash aid stock, only to have it oxidize before
I can use it all.  So I was thinking of making it up from powder
for one-shot use as needed.

I am using a Jobo LPL 7700 enlarger to produce black and white prints on
variable contrast paper.
I am trying to find a chart that will tell me what I have to dial in to
the colour wheels to produce different grades/contrast of prints on
Contact Printing: How Black To Go?29 Oct 2004 04:43 GMT13
How do I determine what is "black enough" on a contact print? I've done an
exposure test strip 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 secs. and have determine there is
just a smidge of discernable difference between 20 and 25 and no difference
(that I can see anyway) between 25 and 30 I think. New ...

Eclipse of the Moon28 Oct 2004 23:21 GMT12
Dear Readers:
Any thoughts regarding photographing the eclipse of the moon tonight? An article
in Sky & Telescope advised against using exposures longer than a few seconds with a stationarily mounted 500 mm telephoto lens; who has any thoughts on this?
The same article gave a ...
Konica IR production28 Oct 2004 05:28 GMT5
I was shopping at a not-to-be-named professional photography store in
Seattle and, when I asked whether they carried Komnica IR film, was
told that it was not being produced - not discontinued, but that no
new batches being run at present.  Since the staff at this store often
Wierd edge development on 120 film28 Oct 2004 03:18 GMT7
Just developed my first roll of 120 and the result has some serious
issues. There are large yellow blotches and most of the negs look kind
of mottled which I guess might before a fix related issue. The edge on
one side of every frame have the same clear pattern on them, though
processing with limited water supply28 Oct 2004 01:07 GMT10
I am moving to a new house where there is well water and a sceptic tank.  I
wish to continue to process my black and white materials archivally.  I
remember reading somewhere in one of Ansel Adams books about using a limited
amount of water when it was scarce.  I think you fill the ...
NAACO Zip Fix26 Oct 2004 23:06 GMT9
I picked up a gallon concentrate of Naaco Zip Fix the other day in my
local camera store.  Anyone heard of this?  The concentrate was
considerably cheaper than Ilford Rapid Fix.  It lists only Ammonium
Chloride and Metabisulfite as the ingredients.  I'm guessing that I

B&W film question25 Oct 2004 14:27 GMT60
My darkroom has been packed away for many years.  I'm setting it back up
again and I want advice on film.  I used to use Kodak panatomic-x.  What
film would you recommend as a substitute?
Thanks
