Durst cls 30509 Jul 2004 14:14 GMT8
i bought for my daughter an old second hand enlarger with Durst cls 305
color head, so she can practice an develop her first  b&w pictures by
herself.  But i can hardly find any manual about this model, and it would be
great if someone could give me a few informations. This would ...

Daguerreotypes redux08 Jul 2004 03:09 GMT13
I am exploring the possibility of making Daguerreotypes.  I have more than
adequate protection in place (for the mercury fumes, etc.)
I'm wondering if anybody on this list has experience with this technique?

Omega D carrier08 Jul 2004 02:56 GMT13
I've just picked up an Omega D5 enlarger and am looking for negative
carriers. I've seen some on Ebay that appear like the carriers I've
used before on a D5(general shape) but are advertized as "D2"
carriers.  Is there any difference? That is, do all "D" carriers fit
Durst M707 Color Enlarger Wattage07 Jul 2004 22:34 GMT1
Could anyone still own the enlarger tell me what Wattage it says on
its label/tag? I am about to bid on an unopened box of M707 which is
220V. I probably have to buy a voltage converter for that to work in
North America. Thanks
Have you ever had a guy lick you where poo comes out?07 Jul 2004 09:09 GMT11
It's a real turn on my friends. Shave your a.s ahead of time to be on
the safe side. And ease up on the fiber.
Coffee as a document film developer07 Jul 2004 07:36 GMT66
I won't post the image here, but you don't have to be a member or sign
in to view the longer article, with scan, that I posted to photo.net.
Short abstract: the "standard" coffee developer can be easily made up as
a low contrast developer in the same class as POTA, Technidol, or ...
fridge and heat problems07 Jul 2004 04:44 GMT18
Here in South of Spain, we are experiencing very high temperature:
+-40°C/104°F. And I fear for my exposed films. Can I put those in the
fridge once exposed? Also, the room were I usually developped my b&w
films is at a temperature of 26°C/79°F. Do you think there is a danger
Kodalith in 35 mm format06 Jul 2004 03:32 GMT7
Does anyone know if Kodalith film is available in 35 mm? If not, what
would be a high contrast 35 mm film?

An ATL-3 for 30 bucks!06 Jul 2004 02:13 GMT3
No, this isn't another sales ad, but it's definitely the time to look
for the darkroom equipment you always wanted but could never afford.
This morning, a decent, working-order ATL-3 has been sitting on ebay.de
at a buy-now price of a mere 29 euros for hours on end before someone
dev time for dated tmax 40005 Jul 2004 14:46 GMT6
I losed my dev times for tmax 400 in 120 roll...
I know that there are slightly differences between old and new tmax
emulsions, and someone prefer old emulsions...

ilford pan 100 = ilford HP5 plus?05 Jul 2004 11:15 GMT8
I bought a few 35mm rolls of Ilford PAN 100 recently in India. The
speed specified is ASA 100.
I developed the roll and like the results very much. However the edge
marking clearly says "Ilford HP5 Plus". Also there is a number, I

I am about to bid for the above item on ebay.com. Would appreciate
some help from those of you who owned the above item now or before:
The item was never used still in original DURST box. Is this the
complete enlarger? so basically if i got it, i'd just have to get the

Incorporated Developer Papers04 Jul 2004 15:04 GMT6
I've been using Polycontrast III recently, and I've been surprised at its
quality.  The other day I decided to do the development tests suggested in
Adams's "The Print" to determine the optimum development time.  I developed
identically exposed sheets of a step tablet for times ...
