Good darkroom floor mat for spills/easy cleaning?19 Jul 2004 14:58 GMT13
I'm in the market for a pretty sizable floor mat for a darkroom that
has a wooden/metal/don't ask kind of floor.  I'm looking for a size
about 6' by 6'.
Other than using several "bathtub" slip mats I can't think of anything

Multiple prints in one Jobo print tank? Clips or not?18 Jul 2004 17:13 GMT8
I tried running two sheets in a 2830 tank this morning and the
sheets slipped causing some overlap. Are people using the clips? I think
Jobo claims you don't need them? Or should I just be more carefull putting
the sheets in the tank?
My first attempt at development (Longish).18 Jul 2004 12:53 GMT2
I printed my first photography tonight, and thought I would share my
experience with everyone in r.p.darkroom - it might make for good
discussion, plus people can share their tips with me for next time :)
I have been buying most of my printing and development equipment from
Taking Enlarger out of storage18 Jul 2004 06:53 GMT3
I was given an enlarger that had been stored for about 10 years in a semi arid
area.  It was stored in a garage. The humity here is relalitively low.  What
would be suggested for a general clean up?  I has a mild musty odor. Does any
one have a recommended approach to put this into ...

Dish/Tray Warmer?17 Jul 2004 16:43 GMT10
I am missing three items for my darkroom.  Two of the items I can find
on eBay - a print dryer and a decent timer - the other item is a little
more elusive!
I am looking for a tray warmer that will accomodate three 8x10
Kodak PGI grain "ruler"?17 Jul 2004 16:04 GMT1
Has anybody seen a Kodak PGI grain ruler, as I think it's called?
I'm wondering whether there is a grain comparison scale provided
for many colors, or just gray.
Crocien Scarlet17 Jul 2004 12:37 GMT13
Anybody know where I can get Kodak's 'Crocien Scarlet', or a workable
substitute for retouching negs? It was mentioned in Photo Tech Mag back in
January of '03, (I think) but it doesn't show at B&H, Adorama, Photo.
Formulary, or Bostick and Sullivan.
Neofin Blue, Efke 2517 Jul 2004 01:07 GMT5
Okay, I got five bottles of this spendy Tetenal Neofin Blau to try with Efke
25 film.  I say spendy because I'm accustomed to using Rodinal for
everything. So shoot me - it's what I've become comfortable with but I want
to try this stuff.
weight of my water16 Jul 2004 16:52 GMT22
Since the times I'm using in developing films are always shorter of
the ones in Digitaltruth, I took infos on the quality of the water
coming out from my house.
It's heavy, very heavy.
Water spots?15 Jul 2004 03:37 GMT10
I'm having the odd water spot with C-41 film. They aren't so bad
you notice them on the film but they show up in the prints. When you then go
back and really look at the negative the spots are there.
This is the stablizer I'm using:
Photo Flo15 Jul 2004 00:54 GMT9
At processing time I like the convience of one shot processing.
I have all chemistry premeasured and ready for final dilution.
That is for Photo Flo. I thought I might predilute to 1:30 a
few one ounce bottles and when time to process add that one
