| Film developing | 22 Jul 2004 16:16 GMT | 10 |
O.k I"m very familiar with shooting 35mm film, ( I do B&W) developing, making prints in my darkroom so I made a plunge and bought a Rolleiflex camera medium format (dated 1955) and I got it today and the ASA only goes up to 200 speed and I already ordered some 120 Ilford film at a ...

| Change in Enlarger Head Height corresponds to Change in Exposure Time, but by how much? | 22 Jul 2004 14:23 GMT | 19 |
I am planning to make small B&W prints until I find my desired print and than print it on a bigger scale. Is there a formula I can convert the printing time for the new scale? It sounds logical to me that if I double the height of the enlarger head I should double the exposure time. ...

Processed my first couple of rolls of 400TX (320 iso) according to Kodak's rotary instructions and the neg's are thinner than I would like them. By my eye it will take about 10 - 15% more time. What's the general accord on development timing of this new film.

| Using dry glass plates | 21 Jul 2004 18:43 GMT | 6 |
I recently acquired a number of 5x7 and 8x10 glass plate film holders. I've searched the internet in order to get more info but to no avail. What I'd like to know is what kind of glass I need to get (i.e.. will thin window glass do?). One of the holders had a glass plate in it ...

On the 1200 Durst Enlarger column there is a scale along with the enlarger height scale (I believe) in inches and in meters. This particular scale has 4 divisions for 50mm., 80mm., 105mm. and 150mm. enlarging lenses and has sequential numbers not necessarily starting from 1 within ...
