| Grain like golf balls | 17 May 2004 01:32 GMT | 10 |
I just had a roll of ISO400 print film processed at a minilab. The usual lousy prints, but I notice that some shots I took inside under tungsten lighting, wide open (f1.4 or f2)at about 1/60th are really grainy in comparison to outdoor shots from the same roll. This also

How to you reach archival status with a cold toned paper developed in Kalogen Derivative? If I selenium tone it, I lose the blue. Is Sisten a colorless preservative?

| Zonal Pro HQ | 15 May 2004 09:17 GMT | 6 |
Is Zonal Pro HQ really worth the extra cost? Does it have a better color on Forte's Polywartone than say, other homebrew warm-tone developers. Can it be homebrewed?

| Negative Carriers | 15 May 2004 05:15 GMT | 3 |
I just purchased a Fuji Model B enlarger, which (at a very reasonable price) came without lenses or negative carriers. I have lenses in process -- M39 mount, so not hard to arrange, and "normal" lenses are quite reasonable these days (I'm not looking forward to paying for the

| Durst Glass Negative Carrier | 14 May 2004 06:05 GMT | 1 |
A friend just purchaced an 8x10 Durst enlarger. It came with a glass carrier. He asked me if something was wrong with the glass as it seemed a bit blurry. I looked at it expecting it to be etched or greasy, but it does seem just a bit "unsharp" for want of a better term. Could ...
