Tetenal C-4112 Feb 2004 10:01 GMT1
I have a Tetenal C-41 kit but the directions does not give the agitation times for the stabilizer bath. Does anyone know? BTW, how many 135-24 films to process per run (up to a maximun of 4 runs) in the C-41 1 liter kit?

Tetenal C41 Stabilizer12 Feb 2004 03:21 GMT5
Does anyone knows what the agitation times for the Tetenal C41 chemistry? The directions give the agitation times for the developer and bleach-fix but not for the stabilizer. I am planning to develop a roll of film next week.
Patrick Dignan archive available?11 Feb 2004 22:53 GMT4
Is there an archive of Patrick Dignan's publications available somewhere? I
came across a reference to a microfiche version, but without a reader that
doesn't seem to be practical.

Contact Printing paper negatives11 Feb 2004 22:40 GMT5
Here's an odd one, and one I've never heard anyone else mention on all
the sites and archives I've read. I can't seem to get a perfectly
sharp all over 8x10 contact print from a paper negative. And this is
flat RC to flat RC. I've put glass on the base to get the flattest
Jobo AutoLab11 Feb 2004 22:36 GMT2
I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on the Jobo AutoLabs?  I have
been considering picking one up.
Could anyone comment on the following areas:

Scala question11 Feb 2004 15:55 GMT2
Has anyone noticed that Scala appears to have an amazing tolerance for
overexposure?
Still have bubbles on the roll film11 Feb 2004 14:52 GMT10
I thought I'd ask this question again, as I've never really resolved
it, and there might be something I'm still unaware of.
Despite a two minute prewet, and a good hard tap of the tank after
every agitation I still will find minus density globs, on the edges of
How to set operating voltage for Macbeth TD-504A Desnsitometer11 Feb 2004 13:43 GMT9
I have recently acquired a Macbeth TD-504A densitometer on ebay and I
have a bunch of questions.
First, it is currently set up for for operation at 220V, and I need to
get to work on US voltage. The manual Gives instructions for setting
Archival inksets for inkjet printers.10 Feb 2004 22:53 GMT77
I have been looking at getting back into darkroom work but with
advances in technology, it would seem that my Beseler 23CII will
likely never see another negative.
I have decided to go digita.  From the point of view of archival
experiences with 400TX and TMAX developed with HC100/TMAX/XTOL?10 Feb 2004 21:47 GMT8
Would you share your experiences developing 400TX and TMAX films using

Reformed Pyro Workers10 Feb 2004 16:10 GMT36
I may have gone overboard with the highlight controls of pyro
developers. Originally I was a Tri-X, HC-110 landscape shooter, but
came to feel that I was forever struggling to hold highlight/sky etc.
Especially when giving alot of exposure to acheive very full shadows.
Uneven Dev with Jobo10 Feb 2004 09:51 GMT1
I'm using a Jobo cpp-2 processor I am getting an uneveness in
development which jobo refers to as "road ruts"  that is a linear uneveness
that runs the long length of the film, in the direction of the rotation.
It's dense on the edge, then lighter 1/3 of the way in, then denser, ...
reducing color saturation w/ RA-410 Feb 2004 08:20 GMT3
Is it possible to reduce the color saturation when making RA-4 prints?
I've been playing around with this in Photoshop, and I really like the
effect when up to 75% of the color is removed.
Another newbie question (i haven't tried color yet):  can you dodge/burn
