I did my acetone test with a mf neg- Submerged it in Acetone and
watched it off and on (lightly agitating it) for an hour until the
Acetone evaporated.  The negative eventually just curled up and both
the base and image were still there.  I could begin to see what

spoke with is 67mm. Great! I've got the N.D. I need right here to calm
these Aristo Grids down to a better aperture and longer times, but...

I am just getting back into this after 30 years.  Bought an F4s on eBay; a
couple AF Nikon lenses and even a 600mm F5.6.  Omega condenser and such.
This is not to overtly brag; but it does tell a little about where I am
coming from.

I usually like to think that I can do most tasks well when working in
the dark.  On more than one occasion, I have even whipped up a new batch
of fixer or made a fresh dilution of developer under a safelight.  But,
