Hello. Are the times listed for D-76 good starting points for using D-23? Which would be prefered; straight or 1:1? Any films to avoid using D-23? For those experienced using D-23; any tips? Thanks. Francis

I have some squeeze bottles used once or twice for the Kodak Rapid Selenium Toner.(Two-one for toner, one for bleach).Can I wash them thoroughly, and then use them for stop and fixer (film)? TIA

Hey guys, I've been striving to open my TMAX 400's film cassette while I don't have the so-called cassette opener. I tried using scissors, screwdrivers...well, I still couldn't open the !@#$ hard top/bottom plate of the film cassette.

Well guys, i gotta thanx all of you 'cause i've done opening my !@#$ cassette with bottle opener (plus brute force anyway....) Having loaded the film into spiral, i then filled the tank with water and soaked for 2 minutes. Then I pour out the water and filled with developer.

I have a neg that I think will benefit from pre flashing the paper (MG VC-FB Warmtone). I have no idea how much time to start with. Any ideas or suggestions? Would a pre flash require a filter or just straight G-2 exposure? TIA

We all know that colour negative film has much greater latitude than reversal (slide) film, but where does your typical black and white negative film stand in this ? Is it closer to colour negative, or colour slide, from a latitude

I had a couple of rolls of B+W film to develop after Christmas so I popped in to my unheated (and rather cold) darkroom. I put the films into the spiral tanks and set about getting all the chemicals up to temperature.
