I have a bent arm on my older model LPL 11x14 masking frame. Is it possible

For many years, I've mixed up a quart of rapid fixer with hardener for
film, and a gallon of plain Kodak fixer with hardener for paper.  I
can;t remember why I got into this habit.

Questions about film contrast.
The recent discussions have left me somewhat in need of clarification.
I put down points which I think I know, but some of which

Beyond price, which is a huge difference, and that the 2502 can be set

I bought a string of 35 amber LED CHristmas lights.  After a minutes
reflection, I took them down the the room I will be using as a dark
room and plugged them in.  They give much more light than the Kodak OC
filter with a 15 watt bulb.

I have assorted foil pouches of Kodak stuff that has to be 15+ years old in
the darkroom.  Is it still good?

I have a small collection, 100 or so, colour slides that were taken by
