| comments on Agfa MCC FB papers (vs. Ilford)? | 30 Sep 2003 04:52 GMT | 4 |
So far, I've done all my printing on Ilford MGIV RC paper (satin and pearl finishes). I'd like to try FB paper. How is Agfa MC Classic paper compared to Iford? Reason I'm eying this stuff is that its cheaper and offered in semi-matte for 5x7" at B&H.

| Plus-X + HC-110(B) = > ISO 125? | 29 Sep 2003 03:20 GMT | 26 |
Just souped a roll of Plus-X (120) in HC-110 dilution B. I used a recommended (by another amateur) time of 5 minutes (temp. was ~ 72°), since I'd gotten much too dense negatives using the recommended development time. This time the negatives were better, but still too dense: ...

I'm looking for a B&W film that even when underexposed and hence yields a "thin" negative, will still provide ample information for a properly adjusted print. Thanks

I'm getting ready to jump on the Pyro bandwagon and need some guidance. I would like to use the Photographer Formulary PMK and Plus-X Pro (120 format, because I have it on hand). However, I have not been able to find much about this combination. Am I taking the wrong path?
