I have a 48 bit USB HP 4400c scanner and I am considering buying the film
adapter.
Does scanning and printing negs actually work? I have a canon s900 6 color
printer that prints digital camera pictures that look better than a
Gloves for developer31 Jul 2003 00:20 GMT6
I plan to soften d-76 by shuffling print paper in it.
I'm not certain if I can do this using tongs. Can someone
suggest some form of protection for my hands
that would not adversely affect the developer

I am in the process of developing a large darkroom for workshops and
possibly rentals. I am in love with the process, and have begun to explore
other alternative processes, and would like to off a professional venue for

them.
A local fellow is offering to sell me his Omega DII enlarger for $75.  It
has a condensor head, a Rodenstock 80mm f4, and a 2.25x2.25 (i think)

How to develop Ansco All Weather Pan?29 Jul 2003 03:13 GMT1
I came across a roll of Ansco All Weather Pan (620 Exp) in a camera
destined for a yard sale. From the owner's comments, I'd guess that this
roll of film  dates to the 1950s. I've searched DejaNews and saw that I
should use D-76 straight at 68 degrees F for 15 minutes. Does this ...
B&W printing from a color enlarger?29 Jul 2003 01:01 GMT4
A newbie question:
I am putting together a darkroom and recently purchased a used Beseler 23CII
enlarger.  I only plan (for now) on B&W printing, but am not sure if there
is any special filtering that I need to do when printing to make sure I get
Enlarger recommendations28 Jul 2003 21:40 GMT8
Does anyone make a coldlight, difussion enlarger that does 35 - 6x9 or even
4x5 negs? Black and white only. I'd need to locate the specs to be sure it
can fit in my darkroom.
Thanks.

3M Photo Adhesive28 Jul 2003 04:23 GMT2
For years I have mounted my photos for framing using drymounting only.
Since I began hand coloring some B&W images, I wanted a simple method that I
could do at home.  I have mounted a few 5x7's to mat board with the subject
3M Photo Adhesive and it seems to be okay.  Had anyone had ...
