Nikon D90 no light meter in LV30 Apr 2009 17:38 GMT35
I'm typing this very slow, so everyone can understand ;-)
I just noticed, that in Live view the shutterspeed is showed from the moment
LV is activated and then it freezes. But it doesn't change when you turn the
camera to lighter or darker scenes! Not even when you change from ...

Hm, seems the TIPA is copying Bertram Paul: last year I choose the D300, so
does TIPA. Few months ago I choose D90, so does TIPA.
Darn copycats!

I was looking over the reactions as some folks seem to think that it's OK

Portrait of my daughter...27 Apr 2009 03:39 GMT7
Always in a hurry, but just before she went out for the night, I managed to
take a quick portrait of her.
Not perfect yet, because I didn't have time to put a reflector on the left
side:

[SI] New Mandate: Punography23 Apr 2009 23:20 GMT57
OK, here's the challenge; produce a single shot, or series of shots that
provide a visual pun that illustrates some saying or expression. This is an
homage to an old photo book I found titled, cleverly enough, Punography.
Please keep it to 4 shots or less so the size of each ...

D90 with grip faster with AA batteries?21 Apr 2009 10:54 GMT3

the case of AA batteries the frame
rate will decrease as battery level drops."
Faster and better pictures in PS CS418 Apr 2009 05:25 GMT17
Depending on your graphics card, your pictures in PS can be much faster and
better looking, for example in 33% it looks pretty bad, but in 50 it's OK.

Nikon confirms D90 LV bug17 Apr 2009 22:45 GMT18
As I detected earlier:
Nikon support has confirmed that the D90 has a bug.
In LV mode the shutterspeed is frozen at the value taken at the moment of
activation. It doesn't change where ever you point the camera. However, it
[SI] New Mandate repost16 Apr 2009 14:29 GMT5
Sorry for the repost, but my "mandate request" post hasn't made it to many
servers, so I thought I'd try again. So far, we have a couple of ideas:
Self-Portrait, which is not necessarily a photo of you. Could be a photo of
anything that says something about you. Shots might ...
