| Query about dust in lenses | 11 Jul 2008 03:57 GMT | 3 |
Folks, I was looking at my Nikkor 18-200 VR zoom lens the other day, and noticed it has sucked in a fair amount of dust onto various elements inside the lens. I live in a high-dust environment (near Longreach in CW QLD), so I'm not too surprised.

"The camera held in my right hand is the D700. Our storm chase vehicle, the camera, and yours truly were covered in dirt and dust by day's end -- but safe and uninjured. It literally took two days to clean everything. Although VERY dirty, the D700 performed flawlessly and never ...

| Canon's Desperation And False Advertising Attract The FTC!! | 06 Jul 2008 15:54 GMT | 53 |
WOW!! Leave it to Canon to stoop this low after getting trashed by Nikon's D300 and D3. Well, Canon was in a decline before all the Mk III focusing issues and years of low performance glass. But this is a new low for Canon and hopefully the final act of desperation before ...
