I came to know an American couple from a Sony forum who came to Portugal for
a holiday.
The last two days I gave them a more or less guided tour of my area. We had
a great time together and had some excellent dinners.

It's amazing when the D3 comes out the crowd gathers around to see what it
is. It was a frenzy of questions and answers when they heard the beautiful
music the D3's shutter makes. This one chap was so intrigued by it I had to
take a portrait of him. This meant I had to "zoom back ...

Have been scouring the net looking for a pocket camera for wife.
I like the look of Canon SD 1000 or SD 1100, My Camera House has never
heard of them !! Can anyone tell me if they are available in Australia,
