Canon 1000D: another hi-five for DPReview?14 Jun 2008 09:23 GMT32
Canon introduced the "new" 1000D: 10 MP (there's a surprise!) same LV as the
450D, 2,5" LCD and of course the dedicated Direct Print button.
Seems more like a polished 400D with a few whistles and bells, but lower
quality.
<YAWN>  Ospreys Love The D3!!14 Jun 2008 06:04 GMT25
It's true.  I went on my midmorning beach walk down by the Chesapeake
to see how my Osprey family is doing.  Well, they are doing great and
getting bigger by the day.  Fortunately I had the D3 and my trusty
Formidable 500 with me.  I was able to capture the full impact of the ...
[stereograms] not your typical Sydney tourist photos13 Jun 2008 22:36 GMT38
Was down in Sydney on the long weekend and took a walk around The
Rocks.  Thought I'd have some fun making some cross-eye
stereograms.
This was probably my fav.  Just some beergarden:

DPreview's Richard Butler "apologizes" and corrects Sony A350 review12 Jun 2008 22:51 GMT24
After I pointed out, that another important missing feature in the review of
the Sony A350 was the built-in wireless flash function, he changed it and
added it with the "pros".

Ospreys Love The DC280!! (DC280 vs D3 shootout)12 Jun 2008 20:26 GMT9
Yes folks, after my D3 letting me down so hard I had to blow the dust off of
my old eBay camera, the Kodak DC280.  Anyway, here's a series of eight
action packed Osprey photos shot handheld at a distance of 250' - 300'.  And
for the functionally challenged I put thumbnails for you ...
When cross-eyed 3d goes bad...12 Jun 2008 14:03 GMT5
Whilst out wandering today, I thought I would try out that cross-eyed 3d
thing...
Trouble was, I didn't find anything particularly aesthetic.  But having
regard to the fact that most of the 3d shots I've seen recently weren't

gets abused and then hung-up on?  The salesperson also said 'your all

Rust Never Sleeps When The D3 Is In Town!!09 Jun 2008 07:35 GMT7
I took the old D3 and Formidable 500 for a street photography session on the
streets of Baltimore today.  Other than the temperature being hotter than a
Rastafarian at a bar mitzvah, I was able to get a few snaps of urban life
before retiring to the old swimming pool to work on my ...
DPreview can't get it's head out of Canon's a.s...09 Jun 2008 02:50 GMT5
I read the review of the Sony A350 on DPReview (thanks to RichA).

They claim the picture of the RAW file of the Canon 450 is better. Well,
download both files and judge:
