Road-Tripping Through Tennessee With The D3!!30 Jun 2008 21:46 GMT7
And I must say that Tennessee is such a beautiful state rich in history and
charm.  There's nowhere else in the US where you can go that will send you
back in time to a simpler era.  I even found Bret's ancestral birth place
that dates back six generations.
Portuguese wedding (pics)30 Jun 2008 17:57 GMT8
It was a great honor for me to be chosen as a photographer for the wedding
of the Portuguese consul's daughter's wedding (did I write that correct?).
Not only were my colleague and me photographers, we were also invited as
guests to the dinner. People from all over the world ...

Stereo Waterfall Image30 Jun 2008 13:55 GMT2
Was out today at one of the local parks, and inspired by

waterfall chasing, decided I'd combine the two.

Shooting Macro At 1,000mm With The D3!!29 Jun 2008 12:07 GMT28
The close focus ability of the old 500 is simply amazing, even at 15'!  Next
time I'll be taking my Kenko tubes out to see how well they do.  Damn!  The
old 500 is really a versatile lens.

[photos] fun with macro, water drops, and DVDs27 Jun 2008 00:53 GMT16
Nothing on TV last night, so decided to have some fun - macro
style.  I've seen this done before, but never tried it myself.
Just trying to get some abstract crazy colouring.  I had no idea
what colours were going to be created.  And I wasn't expecting

More bad 3D images and lessons learned..26 Jun 2008 05:07 GMT36
At the risk of further eyestrain, herewith two more cross-eyed stereograms:

They are not very good - but it's all part of the learning experience

Sandisk Extreme speeds25 Jun 2008 05:17 GMT5
Has anyone experienced a notable difference in speed between Extreme III
and Extreme IV cards?
I bought some of the IV cards a couple of days ago, and was expecting to
see a notable difference in save speed when shooting raw, but really can't
