A Canon could never withstand this level of abuse and keep shooting.  God,

They seemed like a good idea at the time...18 Mar 2008 07:45 GMT19
.. before I relegate them to the trash...  (O;
Actually, a couple are keepers, but most of these just didn't quite
work, for various reasons.  But it's good to show off your failures as

Going Crabbing With The D3!!18 Mar 2008 00:51 GMT16
If you're looking for the ultimate crabbing rig to catch those crusty
crustaceans look no further than the D3!  Why can't Canon build a rig that
has such high-ISO performance and able to withstand the rigors of a hostile
environment?
[photo] spooky house17 Mar 2008 23:32 GMT20
Have always wanted to take a night shot of this house.  Was
watching a movie at the cinema round the corner the other night
and happened to have camera and tripod in the car, so afterwards
stopped off on the way home.

The D3 Meets A Formidable Enemy!!16 Mar 2008 21:45 GMT8
Even the D3 can come up against some nasty characters out in the mean
streets!  I'll tell ya, some are just down right nasty and as ugly as a damn
vulture.

Taking The D3 To The Sushi Bar!!16 Mar 2008 16:05 GMT1
Yes, the D3 performs miracles at such venues as dimly lit concerts and other
nightclub settings, but it does get stretched to the limit at the sushi bar.
Even the spine tingling moments when the sushi chef performed his magic were
captured, without flash of course. sh.t!  Shooting ...

A St Andrews Cross spider (not at all frightening, if you're squeamish) in
my backyard this afternoon.

Entry level DSLR reccommendation13 Mar 2008 12:02 GMT7

At ISO-12,800 The D3 Fuses The Past And Future With Old Time RCA Advertising Style!!13 Mar 2008 03:15 GMT12
It was bound to happen.  The Japanese being fascinated with all the old time
electronics Americana have married the past and future together.  This new
style of advertising is starting to sweep the world faster than the news of
the D3's arrival.  Leave it to the Japanese to come up ...
Some Weather we've been having!13 Mar 2008 00:29 GMT7
I understand that the weather down near Brisbane has been terrible
lately and D-Mac has been forced to anchor his precious "Ryadia."  I
didn't realize it was that miserable down under, weather-wise.
We are finally about to experience Spring up here on the top of the
