Taking The Long Way Home With Nikon!!03 Jan 2008 18:26 GMT35
After having a great day out with the old Nikkor catching all the great
action, I decided to take the long way home.  I'm so glad I did since the
old D3 wasn't ready to be tucked in just yet.

Machine Gunning The D3 At 1000mm!!03 Jan 2008 17:15 GMT34
Yes folks, this thing rocks!  And I must say the shutter makes a hell of a
lot more racket than the old Mk III.  The crowd just jumped in fright and
looked while wondered what I was doing.  And at 9fps I still had a hard time
keeping up with the action, but was able to get some ...

FedEx, I Love You!!!  Nikon, I reserve judgment!!!03 Jan 2008 16:56 GMT8
Even though you woke my dead a.s up this morning!  I was out like Martin
Luther King dead to the world sleeping and the freaken doorbell rings.  What
dumb sumbitch could have the balls to come to the door this early on a
Saturday morning?  Could it be the Mormons?  Maybe the Born ...
The Odyssey Begins With The 1Ds Mk III03 Jan 2008 14:17 GMT53
Jesus H. Christ, the 1Ds hasn't even been unloaded from the shipping
containers and Canon is releasing a first in a series of endless firmware
updates.  Get yours while it is hot off the servers.  These are sad times to
be a Canon shooter.

Happy New Year03 Jan 2008 08:28 GMT2
Happy New Year to you all, we seen the New Year in on the Docks, in
sweltering heat.
The fireworks were a bit light on, probably due to the factory blowing about
last month, but I got what I could.
"New" Photo from an old camera stuck in a time warp03 Jan 2008 01:32 GMT4
My old Digimax 130 got dropped in 2003 and ever since then the time/
date and a few other things don't work. It still takes nice photos,
just the same.
Only a 1 megapixel camera but you'd never know by looking at it's

Staredown With The Formidable 500!!!01 Jan 2008 11:03 GMT24
Yes folks, taking the Formidable 500 out for a walk and it seems everyone
can't take their eyes off of it!  This thing is better than walking a puppy
for that initial breaking-the-ice comment for meeting people.  Everyone
loves the Formidable 500 while the Fabulous 500 with its ...
