Got a nice little surprise this morning from my Camera supplier, to tell me
that my D3 had arrived.
Unfortunately I had to go out for dinner tonight, so I still haven't had

To celebrate the coming of summer in paradise (Tangalooma resort) so... I
thought I'd share a picture I took with my FZ 50 Panasonic. The tree grows
wild although I suspect it was planted here by a whaler in the '50s.

old buildings? Preferably abandoned... eg warehouses etc

Amazing what you find in and around your own home. Went to hang
some washing out and some wasps have built a nest over the back
door. First thing that comes to mind - drop the washing on the
floor and go get the camera.  :D

Just for the sake of it, here's a quick and dirty pano made up of 5
images from a Fuji S9500 (9Mp 'prosumer').  About a meg download, the
image is 5K pixels wide by the way (that's why I called it
'small'...):

Cheap and cheerful Vivitar 5188 5 MP camera with underwater housing for
AUD$129.
Basic flash, all controls through sealed case, 15 metre depth (sure, right,
ok), takes SD cards.
