LADIES LOVE THE 40D!10 Dec 2007 23:55 GMT7
Everyone knows that "Chicks dig the 40D!"
But it is also quite handy with the ladies, like this Lady I

Montaged Panorama from images 3 days apart.10 Dec 2007 21:46 GMT13
The idea of a panorama seems to have no "standard" aspect ratio. 16:9 is the
aspect ratio adopted by  many Japanese camera makers as a panorama but this
is by no means definitive. I use this 16:9 ratio to keep my panoramas a
constant, manageable ratio if nothing else. Like many ...
pick the three aus.photo photographers10 Dec 2007 20:55 GMT8
http://www.funnylaugh.co.uk/2007/12/06/how-a-pro-takes-a-picture/
Number one is Douggie after he fell over and the bridal party laughed.
number two is Annika stalking Spike,
number three is Daniel Rocha trying to sneakily catch that intimate moment
image harvesting warning10 Dec 2007 19:56 GMT5
Another magazine, another competition, another set of completely shonky
terms and conditions -
Sad to see image harvesting is still alive and well.  If any one has
students who may stumble across this little scam, please warn them not to
Girls adore the D300...09 Dec 2007 22:07 GMT19
I don't why I wrote that. Makes me feel like some cross dresser.... OK,

Let me know what you think, D300 and 1.8 D just in the house today.

Catching A Nut With Nikon!09 Dec 2007 21:01 GMT4
It must be true!  The orgasmic Nikon is so damn good it's worth busting a

Cameta Camera Selling Nikon D3 Fo $6,400!!!09 Dec 2007 13:50 GMT4
Who rules?  It seems Cameta has a winner and people know it.  Or should I
say Nikon is the king and all the loyal subjects want a D3 so badly they
would gladly sacrifice a left one for the D3.

DPreview Adopts 18-month Rule09 Dec 2007 01:40 GMT30
But tries to call it something else.  Yes, it seem we have a bunch of people
suffering from the pitfalls of questioning the validity and feasibility of
the famous 18-month rule.  They can call it whatever else they like, but it
is not going to change the fact that they are the ...
Samples from the D309 Dec 2007 01:00 GMT5
Here are a few sample shots from the D3,
The Basketball shots were shot at high ISO (1250 to 2000), I was using Auto
ISO due to the stadium having skylights the light changed 4 stops within 4
meters.
Follow ups being ignored.07 Dec 2007 00:52 GMT2
It has become an issue in recent times to correctly employ the use of
follow-up headers in posting to the photo groups and in particular, country
specific groups. I'd like to provide those responsible Netizens who actually
care about the well being of Usenet with some information ...
More Panasonic P&S perfection06 Dec 2007 19:19 GMT98
The Panasonic FZ50 alone is an excellent camera. Couple it to a Metz
flashgun and you really have just about as good a combination as most people
will ever need. Total cost? Under $700 Images like this can be taken by
nearly anyone with a little patience and experimentation with ...
