Going Fishing With The Formidable 500!!31 Dec 2007 15:08 GMT6
Yes folks, even on the mighty D200 with the wonderful 1.5x crop factor, the
Formidable 500 is challenged and pushed to its limits.  In honor of our
resident idiot that like to make excuses for his severely cropped excrement
and refuses to "zoom with his feet", the Formidable 500 ...

The Formidable 500 Gets A Little Sole on Christmas Day!!29 Dec 2007 16:30 GMT6
Even on Christmas day the Formidable 500 doesn't take a rest and spreads the
good word only to get some sole in return.  Talk about being righteous!

Going Ballistic With The Formidable 500!!27 Dec 2007 10:46 GMT10
WOW!  All I have to say this is one sweet lens!  This picture is all lens
since the D200 doesn't have the resolving power of the old Mk III.  All I
need to do is etch a set of cross hairs in this thing and I would have a
deadly sharp and accurate sniper scope!  Even on the obsolete ...
Photoshop blur tool Vs expensive lenses26 Dec 2007 22:20 GMT50
This stupid newsreader doesn't let me set a follow up to group! Bloody
Microsoft!!!
No doubt about it... Purists will fall in love with a F/1.0 lens that costs
as much as a small car. They often cite background blur (Bokur) and
The Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8 Totally Destroys Canon's 14mm f/2.8L II Prime!!26 Dec 2007 11:27 GMT91
There's no surprise here!  It seems these are great times to be a Nikon
shooter or a Canon shooter with an adapter.  How can Canon justify putting
out such a crappy lens and charge over $2,000 for it?  How can Canon justify
putting out the 1Ds Mk III and not supply six Nikkor ...
Price differentials in AU vs US; this is getting ridiculous24 Dec 2007 06:26 GMT8
I'm increasingly noticing a glaring gap in my equipment list; a longer
range and reasonably fast lens. The 70-200mm f2.8 IS USM would do
nicely, I think.
There is but one problem. Or more precisely, 3,589 of them, for that's
Nikon's Capture NX needs a kick in the butt24 Dec 2007 02:49 GMT6
Wonderful of Nikon to give the Capture NX software with the first thousands
of D3 and D300 camera's for free (what it should have been in the first
place!), but what gift is it?
True, it can make some very nice modifications to NEF files and even JPG and
