Sports Fans Squinting At The Fabulous 50030 Oct 2007 22:54 GMT2
It would seem sports fans get really annoyed from the glare given off by the
white beast known as the Fabulous 500.  I think Canon blew it by making
their long lenses white.  This fan was so pissed that he gave me dirty looks
and had some fighting words for me.  I will never take ...
Inexpensive Gimbal Mount For The Big Guns30 Oct 2007 15:13 GMT39
There's an eBay seller in India that is selling a variety of different style
gimbals with "Best Offer" and people are picking them up at really low
prices.  Has anyone ever tried one of these?  I know India is the world
leader in producing high quality brass cuspidors, but I'm not ...
Street Sweeping With The Mighty Mk III And The Totally Fabulous 500!30 Oct 2007 15:08 GMT15
Well folks, Bret might be on to something earth shattering.  I followed his
advice today and had a moderate degree of success.  I locked and loaded one
magazine and put the selector in the full "Auto" position.  I pointed the
camera in the general direction of what I wanted to shoot ...

Well kiddies, I got my new 2x torque converter yesterday.  I planned to take
it down to the bay and play with it for the day, but the weather totally
sucks on the East Coast.  Since today is deemed a mass for shut-ins I had to
improvise and light em up in the back yard.  Even with ...

The Totally Fabulous 500 Has A Bad Day!28 Oct 2007 22:13 GMT6
For birding that is!  I decided to walk around the corner to the lake since
the weather cleared up a bit.  The birds were sparse with nothing really
exciting.  I did see a few robins, blue jays, and a few assorted tweeters.
Even the ducks weren't out.  The few bird shots I took with ...

Is anyone thinking of buying one?
It certainly looks feature packed and I like the additional lens
attachments available.
My only camera at the moment is the IXUS, an IXY 800IS which does a
