Hi i just bought a 350D with sigma 70-300 f4-5.6DG MACRO lens and trying to take shots at powerboats today alot came out blury..i only had the camera on auto what do you guys recomend i should set it to or try? or is that lens just too slow..

I just saw an offer for a brand new EOS 300D for $500 from a reputable store. Just wondering, is it worth it (and should I buy it)? I only own a film SLR at the moment, so this would be my switch to digital. Anything really missing from the camera in terms of functions? Thanks!

Just offered a deal on a 5D, $3200 and then $500 canon cashback. (end Oct) I really don't need a new camera at the moment (but would like) I will however need a new cam around March which is about the time I'll be able to choose from 40D or 5D replacement, or even a 5D at sell-out ...
