I have a D70 and shoot mainly motor sports and aviation.  I mainly use a
AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6D ED and found the AF performance a bit slow.  I am
after some views of what my next lens should be.  Keep in mind I am only
an amateur and can't really justify multi-thousand dollar ...

Ok, seems everyone is starting to show their "POTW". This is my lame

Just a follow up on a previous thread regarding my experience with a CF card
which I thought I completely stuffed. Got a card reader, put it on the PC
with CF card plugged in, used "Digital Image Recovery" freeware and
recovered all but two of 96 shots. I was so relieved. I then ...

I thinking of getting a external device (HD or DVD) I want something
reliable and fast (does not need to be ultra portable)
I'm tossing up between the Nikon, Epson and Sony DVD.
