Short Monopods16 Sep 2006 18:32 GMT5
I'm looking for a compact monopod with an extended length of at least 1.4m that collapses to a
length of 38cm or less so that it fits into a small backpack.  I don't need a head on it.
All the ones I have checked out so far collapse down to 50cm or more.
Any clues people?
Sydney pro lab required16 Sep 2006 13:23 GMT7
I am looking for a pro lab in Sydney that can deal with E6 120 and Delta3200
push processing. I am also looking for stocks of Delta 3200 in the city.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

Have you any rules, regulations, or considerations for your group?
I'm just a snapper. I get the odd good photo, but mainly by accident and
Digital camera w/manual control?14 Sep 2006 09:39 GMT6
Hey all. I'm currently looking to buy a digital camera, and I'm truly
bewildered by all the choices available. I've been having a look on the
net and at camera stores around Brisbane, but I don't know a lot about
cameras, and I want to make sure I get a good one. So I was hoping

Anyone interested in macro photography?12 Sep 2006 06:44 GMT26
I am interested in macro photography (object size to fill picture < 15mm).  I am
primarily interested in photograph in insects, native orchids, and the like.
I had a Nikon Coolpix 8400, which almost met this spec, but was pretty cranky.
It was stolen, and I replaced it with an 8700 ...
