Great A3 Prints - $1021 Sep 2006 15:30 GMT6
I just ordered some prints from http://www.fringeimage.com.au and they
are great.  I've put the A3 prints up on the wall already.
I ordered 5 A3 prints (@ $10 ea), all laminated, and one A4 unlaminated
($3) to have a good look at the quality. They are really sharp, the
Definitely Faulty S2IS - (Followup to Faulty Camera or Photographer)21 Sep 2006 15:26 GMT4
A few days ago I posted some examples of my S2IS with blown highlights.
There was plenty of conjecture that the blown highlights were due to
extreme contrast in the scene. Admittedly it was a high contrast scene,
but I still suspected the camera was misbehaving. Today I managed ...

Is it possible to buy 135 version of this film, preferrably in a bulk
roll anywhere in Australia? I'm Mebourne-based, however, any online or
phone order is fine for me....
Anyone is still using this negative?

The Sins of The Camera21 Sep 2006 04:18 GMT1
"I can't stand pornography. So I bought me one of them Christian cameras,"
said Don McGrath, a long-time professional photographer from Johnson City,
Tennessee. "I seen it advertised in a Christian magazine. Takes nice, clean
photographs. Easy to use, adjust, right smart."
FS: Canon 135mm f/2.8 with Softfocus20 Sep 2006 14:35 GMT1
I really don't seem to be using this lens at all so I'm planning to
sell it. I bought it in Janurary so there's still warranty on it.
Nothing's wrong with it, optically OR cosmestically. Looking for about
$550 AUD negotiable. Examination and pickup available in Melbourne. I
Monitor in DVI mode has no colour correction or contrast?20 Sep 2006 13:52 GMT1
I've just noticed that my Philips 150P LCD lacks the colour
temp/correction and contrast settings when it's being fed via DVI. Is
this a normal thing for DVI mode? When I run Adobe Gamma I'm unable to
complete the first step to my satisfaction because I cannot adjust the

Some car photos18 Sep 2006 09:40 GMT6
I don't have a gallery, just a directory with some pics I took of my car

Tried to be a bit arty about it - took them in an empty carpark at dawn.

Getting a 2nd Hand film system quickly (Melb)16 Sep 2006 22:56 GMT5
I'm in a position where I need to lay my hands on a film SLR system on short
notice (i.e. a few days) - I need to do some low light work for which my
DSLR isn't really suitable.
What I really need is a set of fast lenses (28/35mm+50mm+135mm or so, will
