What in your opinion would be the most important parts to spend on a new
computer to manage your photos? (screen,memory,hard drive capacity...)

A personal emergency has forced me to part with a recently acquired 'fun'
camera.
A Nikon D50, 2 lenses, SB600 flash, two 1-gig mem sticks, battery, filters,
etc.

Probably no new news to some of you but after reading dpreview I thought I
make a note of it anyway.
Anyhoo, Adobe have a free download of the aforementioned product for Beta
testing, it's due for proper release in early 2007. Might be interesting for

Just heard a horrible rumour that Kodak metallic is no longer being
produced.
No evidence of this on the Kodak site as far as I can see but if anyone can
shed light here it would be appreciated.

Was in a frantic panick this week to get some quick shots of a Great Egret
and in the rush of changing over CF cards I accidentally popped out my 1 gig
card from the camera before it had finished writing. Now it won't read or
format in the camera. Don't have a port on the PC for ...

I came across a helicopter rental site that offered 20 minute scenic
flights for $99, so I thought I'd try asking how much a flight to a
specific location to snap pics would be. The reply kinda floored me...
