Hypothetical: how low can you go before it's trespass?26 Apr 2006 06:30 GMT13
Say you're in a helicopter hovering over unoccupied land. How low can
you go before you are considered to be trespassing? Is there some
accepted ceiling or is it only once the aircraft touches ground that
you're in the wrong?

Exposure Problem with Nikon F526 Apr 2006 02:09 GMT7
G'day. Just recently purchased a near mint nikon F5. I have shot 2 rolls of
transparencies and they have all come out blanks/not exposed. I am using my
son's nikon AF NIKKOR 70-300MM 1:5.6 G zoom lens. I shot both rolls of

1DS2 Resolution (Sample)...25 Apr 2006 01:26 GMT17
I was doing a couple of quick snaps testing some flash light modifiers I am
developing and was kinda impressed with the resolution of the 1DS2.  This is
just quick hand held snap with no particular attention paid to the focus. (I
just let it focus on the lips, cause it was the ...

haven't received the cash.  The rebate program is through a third party and

DVD-RAM discs - best place to buy?23 Apr 2006 09:42 GMT6
There doesn't seem to be a huge amount of these around (not many on
ebay anyway).
I'm after the smaller camcorder ones (8cm in diametre). Does anyone
have any feedback on the cheaper places to source these? What is the
Graduated ND filters (Lee)23 Apr 2006 01:57 GMT3
Is Vanbar to the only place in Aus to carry Lee filters?
I am a Singh-Ray fan normally, but they are just too darn expensive by the

A3 Printer recommendations - my Epson 1270 appears to be dying..21 Apr 2006 00:05 GMT12
Sadly, I think my beloved 1270 is terminally ill after 5 years of good
service.  It randomly squirts little thin lines of cyan ink at spurious
locations as it prints.  Otherwise the images are fine (!), and the
nozzles are clean and all firing properly on test..  And yes, I know
Lens pens for sensor cleaning20 Apr 2006 08:40 GMT8
Folks
I have just ordered some lens pens and the Birds as Art instructions for
using them to clean sensors.  Has anybody else tried this method yet?

nikon f80 q19 Apr 2006 12:01 GMT3
The 'other half' has had some issues with her F80 at work, and is now stuck.
The film began rewinding, but then stopped.  She couldn't do much with
it.  In the darkroom she's removed the film and that's fine - but now
the camera is showing it has a film and she can't reset it.
