Quote from CEO of Kodak08 Feb 2006 10:59 GMT34
As for other types of film, their sales are "going down at a high speed.
That's it. There's nothing we can do it about it," he shrugs.
"Soon, I'm not going to be answering questions about film because
I won't know.
I was in the Redland News office today....08 Feb 2006 09:04 GMT10
and was most surprised by the big pano print they have on the reception
wall.  (......pano of fisherman at sunset/rise)
It was lacking in saturation (looked like it was faded), displayed very
clunky graduations in the sky (top right corner) and had some weird halo
Photography Course07 Feb 2006 10:41 GMT8
I was just wondering, for the sake of improving my photography skills,
should I bother doing a course in photography? They all seem expensive,
and I seem to have learned a lot of what they teach by just reading
through forums, photo.net, etc... Also, I'm only interested in keeping
foggy lens after fixing07 Feb 2006 10:35 GMT6
the focal ring was very lose on a second hand 200mm Hanimex lens for a
Pentax camera. I fixed to problem fine and no more lose focal ring, BUT!
When I look through it has a fogged/misty effect :(
It focuses just as well before and I have cleaned all the lenses, but
FS - interest - petax 67 wisner 4x5 PERTH07 Feb 2006 07:30 GMT2
I have a friend who's looking to sell off his excess gear, he's
rationalising and only wants 1 4x5 and a pair of Rollies so he's looking to
clear a Pentax 67 outfit and a Wisner 4x5 kit
it's all pretty much mint and he's a nice guy and deserves a fair price,

I already have a Canon film SLR and will go Digital soon to most likely
purchase a Canon 20D in the near future.
I would like to take close up images of insects and other nature
subjects and would like to know the most ideal Macro lens for this

As per earlier thread, have purchased INCA batteries and charger.  Have a

from new. Anticipate some two to three hundred shots ...
Gone digital and regretted it?02 Feb 2006 08:52 GMT23
Just wondering from you guys & ladies here.
Anyone gone digital and maybe regretted it?
I am still in the "dark ages" with a collection of manual and auto focus
Nikon SLR cameras, using film.
