just thought you may want to know, Fletchers has been officially bought
out by a new owner.... info is still coming about the new owners,
however all things are rolling again with a new franchise management team.
unfortuantely there have beena couple of caualties ... such as Pitt ...

Ive been given the choice to have either film or digital for my wedding
this friday.
I am worried about going digital as I really like the warmth and colour

Jaycar are advertising alkaline AA and AAA in bulk (24 or 40 packs) at
around 50 cents each.  For those with flash packs who find rechargeables
don't make the grade, these might be an option.

I did an astro shot the other night for an hour and got good results with
star trails but a friend mentioned that i may be harming the cmos (he talked
about voltage/heat)
Is it possible that it could harm the cmos by doing this ?

I have a very old photo of my grandad which I have scanned and amy currently
restoring with Paint. seems to be working ok but taking a long time with my
patience.

I want to take some panoramas but find that my tripods are NOT
quick and/or easy to get level. Especially on rough terrain. Yes, I
have used a spirit level on the camera, and tripod, but with my old
eyes a very tiny bubble is hard to see.
