Photo Continental in Brisbane have received Nikon D200 cameras into stock. The price is $2640, I believe initial stocks into the country have been lean, so if you need one you could try them... The camera looks pretty damn good

I have been asked to make a computer "childproof" for an alzheimer patient. The idea is that he will be able to turn on the computer (which he is still capable of) and then to autorun a slide show of pictures he took before his illness and other pictures taken in his youth.

I'm wondering whether it's worth it in the long run to buy a dye sub printer rather than mail (or drive) CDs and prints back and forth between here and the lab. Looking for a potential replacement for my Canon i865... nice printer, but drip water or grab a print with sweaty

Who said the 5D from Canon was a low noise camera? Certainly when you combine moderately high (for a Canon DSLR) ISO 800 and low light, the camera doesn't like it one Iota. Easy to fool autofocus too! Pictures, EXIF data and more on the subject at:
