Digital prints look washed out.04 Nov 2005 13:21 GMT8
On screen, the photos look great, good colour tones, etc.
When I print (Epson R800), most of them look a little washed ou.
Mainly portrait stuff.
What should I do to tweak these slightly?  Does the monitor need

Itching to spend $1150 for 2 lenses now -
Anyone know of a Perth shop with a Canon 50mm f1.8 and the Canon 70-300mm IS

Tax writeoff hypothetical04 Nov 2005 08:40 GMT23
Say this guy bought a new item of electronic equipment, and managed to
kill it within 24 hours... even before it was used. Let's say it's
because a power connector that is keyed actually went in the other way
as well without any forcing whatsoever, and he was half asleep so he
Flash control and portraits04 Nov 2005 00:22 GMT4

BOTH cash backs. Funds transferred back to you via EFT. This is a Canon ...
While checking on Lilly ang Gerber...03 Nov 2005 04:05 GMT1
I was out in the garden this morning checking on the progress of the
weeds when I discovered the recent rains had raised some day lilies.
As luck would have it, I had my ever present FZ20 Panasonic with Leica
f2.8 , 12 times Zoom lens at the ready, switched into macro mode... As

required?
Question Re: Manfrotto head selection for tripod.02 Nov 2005 06:28 GMT6
Folks,
I'm working myself up to buying a decent tripod from the Manfrotto range,
and have settled on the 055 model tripod, but am a bit undecided as to which
head selection would suit.  I vaguely recall seeing a ball head that had a
French young/older portrait site?01 Nov 2005 14:32 GMT1
some time ago (2-3 years?)someone in this ng posted a link to a French
project where people posted two photos of themselves...one as a child
and one as an older (middle aged) adult.
I've tried googling, but whatever I search brings up a bazillion hits.
