Sign of the times camera prices.26 Nov 2005 17:28 GMT14
An EOS 1(n) cost over $3000 a couple of years ago. The 'V' model is
listed by Canon at $4400 today. Yet I see a EOS1v just listed on Ebay
with a buy price of $700. http://search.ebay.com.au/7565715447
It makes you wonder if the $14,000 1Ds will be this worthless in 4 or 5
What's with friggin' "RAW"?26 Nov 2005 17:21 GMT18
Current theme in aus.photo suggests working with "RAW" images is a
pain in the arse; and a pro I was talking to the other day had the
same opinion -- the "RAW" format is not a format at all, it's a

Sydney via Singapore.

Printing and framing...SYDNEY24 Nov 2005 23:59 GMT9
Anyone know of someone I can take a landscape image, get it printed and
framed at the same place...in Sydney.
I can only print A4 size and I need it a bit bigger than that as it is 3
photos stitched together.
Canon EF 75-300mm USM III Lens24 Nov 2005 11:48 GMT3
Anyone with experience with this lens, reviews seem to mixed.
For sports photography was looking for something up to 300mm, have been
using the 55-200mm not sure how it compares to the 75-300 III. I have
borrowed the 70-200 f2.8 and it craps all over the quality of the 55-200
