I am a recent convert to digital SLR.  I purchased a Canon 350D and at the
same time upgraded my computer system to include 2  of 19" Viewsonic LCD
screens which I figured would give me accurate colour rendition.

If anyone out there remembers this product or has an old bottle on the
shelf in the darkroom, I'd really like to find out the chemical
composition. From memory this 'wetting agent' contained a single
chemical (somewhat toxic?) . As Kodak don't sell it these days and

Photo Continental in Brisbane has received it's first shipment of Canon
EOS 5D cameras. They have approx 6 or so left and the price is $4990. I
had a look at the camera to day and it looks pretty damn good. just
what the doctor ordered for EOS users with wide angled lens.

Well the romance with Canon cameras is over once and for all. I've
decided the Nikon D2X is the camera for me. The fears I had that it had
"dual sensors" are mostly gone. The second sensor array of smaller
receptors is only for highlight detail capture. One lovely camera with a

I'm aware of the DSC-V3's limitations, but this still seems very cheap.

Also, it seems like it's still selling at $900 in plenty of places (and
that's also what the Canon G6 is going for).
