range of lenses protrudes back into the camera body further so I am assuming
we can't use a converter on the lens.  However I guess we should be able to

I have a Panasonic NGV250 camcorder and via a 4 pin dv cable connected it to
my wintal dvd recorder to copy a birthday onto dvd.
the video copied fine but there is no sound on the dvd. Im awful at this
stuff, can anyone suggest why it may not have worked?

Back from looking at the Ricoh GX8. Very impressive macro. Seems simple.
Photo transfer a breeze. The problem now is to get suitable light on the
subject.  The guy at the shop demonstrated a light ring from a Canon,
(obviously does not screw straight on to the Ricoh), 'balanced' ...
