First DSLR would it be worth spending extra to buy a 8mp compared to a 6mp ?
Does it make that big of a difference? That is the only reason I would buy

I have CardWiper and it is reporting some write errors with one of my CF

lenses so am thinking of getting a Pentax digital body.  There seems to be
plenty of posts of opinions on Canon and Minolta SLRs but very few on
Pentax. Is there a particular reason why?

The old rule of thumb of using a shutter speed of at least the same as the
lens focal length (ie using 1/200 sec for 200mm focal length) when hand
holding works well for 35mm (the exception being if you have an IS lens).
What happens in digital format?  I.e if you have a 200mm lens ...
