Canon 400 or 100-400mm lens31 May 2005 13:07 GMT6
Does anyone know of any camera shop in Sydney Currently selling on stock
one of the Canon lenses 400 5.6 USM or the 100-400 mm Zoom.
Hoping to pick one up asap but Canon Suppliers in my region do not have
any and Canon themselves currently appear to be short.  Sort of slowly
Lseries and similar lenses bought overseas and warranty...??30 May 2005 10:32 GMT47

yourself or know personally someone who has...
Have you bought a good quality lens eg Canon L series from overseas,
either through ebay, online store, or whilst on your travels, and then
D70 backfocus issue.30 May 2005 08:32 GMT8
Recently, a friend told me about a 'backfocus' issue he's got
with his D70 and suggested I do a google search for info about it and to
check my own D70.  After googling for the info and doing some test shots,
I've found that I do, in fact, have the same issue with ...

Would anyone know where in Australia (Sydney?) I can find lowest price for
the Canon 1Ds MrII. Possibly even duty free? Or is it cheaper just to take a
flight to say Hong Kong (even if I do not know where to get one there) to
pick one up.

Does anyone have CF cards you no longer use?  Must be in good/working
condition any size up to 64Mb max, the smaller the better.
Email me direct with price + postage, request they be wrapped in bubble
wrap or a small padded postbag for protection.  Recently had a CF/PCMCIA
Tripod for 20D and 24-70 lens28 May 2005 02:01 GMT15
Id like to buy the cheapest set of legs for this setup...
I just tried a $50 plastic head jobby from a 2nd hand shop, its stable
enough but the head is a piece of crap.
Any Idea what would be the least amount to get something that will work...

Amatures underselling pro's27 May 2005 08:28 GMT1
I find the frequent complaining about amatures underselling pro's
bewildering.
In my line of work (software development), I charge a lot of money.  I'm
akin to the pro.  There are lots of people, who can pick up a program

Any Manfrotto #190 Tripods out there that can be raided for parts?
Parts for the #190 are no longer available and no one can tell me if the leg
pivot bracket (the topmost part of each leg) from the new models will fit
the old.

I have had 14 slides (35mm) accepted by a national government body which
they want they want to use for a period of time to use in their brochures,
