A relo 4000km away is starting to get into digital photos and printing himself. Now, I am seeking recommendatiosn for the best website that clearly explains pixels, dpi (ie image size versus number of pixels). Now I'm a techie geek, so I am not the best at explaining in laymans

The recent Canon Summer Photo Compertition is a real tribute to Photoshop. The winning and most of the awarded photos would not have existed the way they are without major miniplation with photoshop and similar programs. Not a single mention of this in the results.
