Help re adapting lenses.29 Apr 2005 02:28 GMT2
I have recently been given both a tele and wideangle lense. They are
made by vitacon and state they suit an AF-5(Whatever that is).
I am trying to see if they will adapt to a fuji S550 Adaptor ring.
The adaptor ring has a larger tread than the lenses.

Nikon have apparently encrypted the white balance information inside the RAW
(NEF) on their two latest offerings, the D2X and D2Hs.  Previously the WB
data was unencrypted and while the encryption is easily cracked ...

Advice on Nikon AF-S 12-24mm f/4G DX lens28 Apr 2005 00:27 GMT1
I am new to this group and I was wondering if anyone can give me some
feedback on the Nikon AF-S 12-24mm f/4G DX lens. I am about to purchase one

find out how they work with the SB-800 flash gun as well as the ...
1DsII pricing - online and Melbourne stores?27 Apr 2005 22:05 GMT11
So far the best store price is $13,300 for the display model which I
wasn't really that interested in. Online pricing goes as low as $12,249
( http://www.ccccamerahouse.com.au/store/product.asp?idProduct=700 )
but I would be happy paying a little extra if I can buy locally. I've

Canon vs Nikon image sensor size27 Apr 2005 04:05 GMT13
Can someone let me  know if the image sensor size that Nikon uses in their
digital cameras reduces the quality of the picture compared with say, the
Canon EOS 1DS(? their top flight model)  which has a full size sensor (35mm
fillm size)
Sports photography at night26 Apr 2005 14:29 GMT11
Went to the go-kart track with my brother tonight, and, both being
novices, could not work out how to take good shots of moving objects in
a relatively well-lit area at night. (Taking motionless shots yielded
well-lit pics, but moving object were the problem).
