I have recently been given both a tele and wideangle lense. They are made by vitacon and state they suit an AF-5(Whatever that is). I am trying to see if they will adapt to a fuji S550 Adaptor ring. The adaptor ring has a larger tread than the lenses.

Can someone let me know if the image sensor size that Nikon uses in their digital cameras reduces the quality of the picture compared with say, the Canon EOS 1DS(? their top flight model) which has a full size sensor (35mm fillm size)

Went to the go-kart track with my brother tonight, and, both being novices, could not work out how to take good shots of moving objects in a relatively well-lit area at night. (Taking motionless shots yielded well-lit pics, but moving object were the problem).
