FS: Canon Elan 7n (33v)07 Mar 2005 10:03 GMT4
I have one Canon Elan 7n for sale. It's the same model as the 33v, but
purchased in the US. It is a damn fine film SLR, but I have another film
body and a 300d, so rarely use this one. It was purchased mid-last-year and
has taken at least 500 shots, but less than 800.

Melbourne F1GP Parade06 Mar 2005 20:54 GMT17
I went to see (and hear) the F1 cars doing a bit of a demonstration on Swanston
St in Melbourne yesterday and took my shiny new  D70 with me.
I used Shutter priority mode to get an idea for the aperture to use, then I put
it in manual mode and took a few test shots and used the ...

Nikon D70 - Cashback Offer New Deadline? & Prices?05 Mar 2005 07:30 GMT2
I have been hearing that D70+lens cash back offer has been extended till
31 Mar 05.  Is this the deadline for claims only or date you can
purchase a D70 kit last to qualify for the cashback.  If its the latter,
what's last day for claims?
Olympus C700 - Progress at last!04 Mar 2005 14:23 GMT38
Looks like we're making progress -- thanks to that real nice feller who
posted and suggested I try using the camera with an AC adapter.
[Note to the "try a new battery" crowd:  No, it wasn't the batteries.]
I picked up an adapter at Frys Electronics for $19.99.  I saw some on ebay
cheapish lenses04 Mar 2005 08:21 GMT2
I'm just starting to investigate options for zoom lenses for my D70.
I've decided I want a zoom in the 70 to 210mm range, which means any of the
following if the 2nd hand price is right:
70-210 F4 AF

for my Canon 10D.
I already have 17-40 and 28 135, but now want something in the range of

Question to the techos in the newsgroup regarding focus02 Mar 2005 21:10 GMT6
My camera Fujifilm Finepix 280 zoom had been dropped and now the focus is
not right. I am thinking of sending it away for repair but to who.
The distributor charges a reasonable quote fee and my guess is it may not be
economical to repair.
