weird - I was compiling an ammended history of photography the other day to encorporate the video element introduced with digital and it occured to me that I didn't *really* know how many large format camera makers there were left so I had a look.

Hi all, many years ago when I dabbled with slide film, you could purchase (for example) Kodak's Kodachrome or Ektachrome. The only difference being that the processing price was included with the former and not in the latter. Is this still the case?

How does one get B &W prints from a Nikon D70. Is the only way via software? Any info will be much appreciated. Steve R

my new pride and joy (1dII) is stuck in customs in melbourne. can anyone offer advice about customs brokers etc that i need to get hold of in order to clear my parcel. never brought in an item over $1000 and not really sure where to go from here.

My faithful Canon A95 took a dive at the hands of our toddler last week, and it's pushed the front lens element in slightly on the left hand side, so it can't move in or out, and the camera notices this and doesn't work, displays the canon logo on

I am after a voting software (free would be best of course). We are ~90 enthusiast at my work and a best picture voting tool/software would be great. We would like to put together a calendar of our best photos. I do not which to use an Internet based system.
