Making a lens wider14 Mar 2005 02:46 GMT13
I have the Canon L 24-70 2,8. Is there any adaptor/converter which can make
the lens a tad wider say down to 17?
If so is the result still sharp?
Thank you

Not sure if anyone is interested, but here are a few pics I took of the

Brisbane as she was leaving to go to Bangkok.

Macro choice13 Mar 2005 07:38 GMT5
Thanks for previous comments on choosing a macro lens for my 20D.  The cost
of my preferred options has lead me to weighing up between the 90mm 2.8
Tamron and the 100mm 2.8 EF Canon.  Difference in price between these two is
negligible for this purpose.  Will ultimately like to ...

Just wondering if anyone has used the Manfrotto 055Pro with the 486RC2
compact ball head, and if so, whats your opinion.
It's rated to hold 6kg, but has anyone here tried it with close to that
weight?

Free: MultiSync 6FGp 21" monitor (Sydney)11 Mar 2005 08:49 GMT1
I have a fully working NEC MultiSync 6FGp monitor in very good condition
that I can no longer justify keeping.  This is a heavy beast and it takes a
lot of desk real estate but remains a pretty good piece given its age.  You
can't deny that 21" gives you a good workspace, be it for ...

many good reviews.  Does anyone here have any bad experience or good
experience with this camera?
WTB: Small capacity CF Cards11 Mar 2005 01:07 GMT11
Does anyone have small capacity CF Cards they no longer use?  64Mb or
less would be great, but must be in good working condition.  Reply with
info including prices.

is this time based photographic site unique on the web?10 Mar 2005 12:27 GMT4
I have given this site some tuning and added stuff since the last posting
and hope its a bit more workable. Very interested in any feed back.
Very keen to know if there are other sites displaying historical before and
after imagery

Talkback radio in Sydney has been abuzz with the following for a couple of days.
Randwick Council in Sydney wants to ban cameras from one of its' swimming
centers (one was mentioned, I am sure the ban would be extended to all).  They
say it is to stop perverts taking photos of ...
