Our local council has just ran a photographic competition for local images with a
tempting first prize of $1000.
In the "Terms of Entry" was the following condition:
"Copyright to the photograph will become the property of Hervey Bay City Council

I've taken some good photos today on a digital camera, but unfortunately the
files are corrupt. The images appear on the camera but I can't transfer the
pictures to my computer.

Just wanted some opinions. Whats the chances of nikon doing what canon did
and changing lens mounts ? I know no-one has a crystal ball but would it be
