hello i am a newbie and i just bought a new digital camera but i have a few questions i put it on the "food" present mode and took a picture of a plate of food, but it didn't add the steam? why is this?

i got 2 items i want to photograph for ebay but i've got no camera. does anyone know of a place (or someone) where i can get a quick, cheap pic done in Melb?. even just a polaroid will do... the quality doesn't have to be that good.

I don't own a digital camera yet but when I do get one I plan to display the majority of my photos on my home theatre video projector as a slide show via a PC. My projector is an LCD type with a native pixel count of 1280 x 720. Has anyone any experience with this display method?

I normally shoot RAW but the other day I photographed a wedding using a 10D and to save a bit of CF space I switched to Jpeg for the more general snaps. Got them home and noticed a dreaded hot pixel on the right side exactly halfway up (Y1014) on all the Jpegs. Curiously the

When using Goggle search. The images are described as 1024 x 768 pixels. Does this mean that if we copy the picture and tell our viewer to show it at 100%, that the picture will be 1024 pixels wide?
